ag105 is a 40% silver cadmium free alloy solder. melting range 640 - 700 degrees c. suitable for joining ferrous and non ferrous metals. When used on a close and uniform joint gap of 0.05-0.15mm it will produce a neat joint with optimum joint properties. As such it is regarded as one of the best silver brazing alloys available. Concerns over user safety and the long-term impact of cadmium within the environment mean that this alloy contains no cadmium.
